How can I find the correct inner tube for my mountain bike?
Purchasing an inner tubes can seem like a confusing task, but once you know what you are looking for, it is much easier. Take a look at your bike, along the sidewall of the tyre you should be able to see a few numbers.
The first number will show you the size of your wheel, followed by the width of your wheel.
For example: 27.5 x 2.30 = you will need a 27.5” inner tube with the width of up to 2.30
What valve type do I use?
There are 3 main valve types for an inner tube. VeloChampion now sell all inner tube types including Dunlop.
Presta Valve
Also called French. Historically used for road bikes, but mountain bikes are using these valve types now.
Schrader Valve
Also called American. Typically for mountain bikes.
Dunlop Valve
Also called German. These are mainly used in European markets.
