Using the highest quality components available the VC Elite Road Shoes have been developed to offer a traditional feel but with modern cutting-edge performance for long days in the saddle.
These shoes use the highest quality PU material a soft but highly durable material specifically developed for our shoes. The upper material is super lightweight supple but has a superb tensile strength its gloss finish helps repel water and grime as well as being very easy to clean. Combined with Mesh panels and strategic perforated areas your feet will stay cool in hot conditions. To further help keep your feet cool we've incorporated vents into the outsole and created a 'Waffle' insole footbed which as well as helping to cool your feet creates a cushioned footbed.
Main ratchet closure with micro-adjustment allows for a perfect fit whilst the 2 lower velcro straps help keep weight to a minimum.
The composite polymer outsole incorporates both a 3 bolt and SPD cleat attachment which is great should you wish to do a little indoor 'spin' training.

Once opened - the upper clip was difficult to release because of the way it was packed - the shoes fitted well and proved easy to put on and take off. SPD SL cleats were bolted in and seem to work well. Having used them only twice on runs totally 110 Km I have found them comfortable but it's too early to comment on how well they wear. Ask me again in 6 months time!
United KingdomI bought these to have as a second pair and was a bit concerned that their UK size 9 was EU 43 but their size 10 was EU 44 as other manufacturers state UK 9.5 is EU 44. However I was pleasantly surprised that these are a perfect size UK 9 and with the straps there is plenty of room to tighten or loosen where appropriate. Overall top score from me.
